Elias Shamieh is an experienced immigration attorney in San Francisco and founder of the Law Offices of Shamieh, Shamieh & Ternieden. As an immigrant himself, he has a unique, personal understanding of the U.S. immigration system.
His experience immigrating to the U.S. taught him how many people need—but lack—legal representation, as well as the means to navigate and afford the legal process. For over 35 years, he has committed his legal practice to assisting individuals with everything from securing green cards to assisting asylum seekers to stopping deportation orders.
He is driven by his passion to help others with the complex, always-changing system of immigration.

Prior to his legal practice, Attorney Shamieh operated several successful businesses in the area. He was a City Commissioner for the Parks and Recreation Department for many years and served as the Chair of the Commission from 2006 to 2007. He has also participated in many social and civic activities, as well as several cultural festivities.
Attorney Shamieh has appeared on television and radio to discuss various topics related to immigration law and how it affects people and has been quoted in local newspapers on similar topics.
After growing up and completing his schooling in San Francisco, Attorney Shamieh founded his practice here. With locations in San Francisco and Sacramento, the Law Offices of Shamieh, Shamieh & Ternieden serves clients nationwide and from all parts of the globe.
