Originally from Jordan and born in Kuwait, I am fluent in Arabic and English with over 11 years of experience at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in Amman, Jordan, primarily in the Immigrant Visa (IV) Unit. In this role, I supported individuals and families through the immigration process, facilitating the reunification of spouses, children, parents, and siblings, as well as assisting refugees and asylees in joining their families in the United States.
Building on this foundation, I bring over 20 years of experience in private legal practice with Shamieh Law Office, where I have worked closely with attorneys, government agencies, and clients to navigate complex immigration matters efficiently and compassionately. Over the past eight years, my work has focused extensively on National Visa Center (NVC) and consular processing for both family-based and employment-based immigration cases. I have also assisted clients in completing Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA) and U.S. passport applications for their minor children at U.S. consulates.
I am committed to handling each case with diligence, accuracy, and care, recognizing the significant impact these processes have on the lives of the families involved. My professional focus is on clear communication, problem-solving, and guiding clients through each stage of the immigration process. Whether managing visa applications, court filings, or consular processing, my goal is to contribute meaningfully to family reunification and support clients in achieving stability and opportunity in the United States.
